Terms of use

The agreement between you and CompareAML.

Plain-English terms covering what we do, what we don't, and the limits of our role.

Last updated: 1 May 2026 · Version 1.0

By accessing or using CompareAML you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

CompareAML is an independent matching platform that connects Australian businesses with vetted AML compliance providers. We are not an AML provider, do not provide legal or compliance advice, and do not guarantee any specific compliance outcome.

2. Eligibility

The service is intended for businesses operating in Australia or providing designated services to Australian customers. By submitting information, you confirm you have authority to do so on behalf of your business.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to provide accurate information, to use the service for the purpose of identifying compliance providers for your own business, and not to scrape, resell, or misuse the platform or any provider data shown on it.

4. Matching, not advice

Provider shortlists are based on the information you give us and our own methodology. They are recommendations to evaluate, not legal or compliance advice. You should conduct your own due diligence before engaging any provider.

5. Payments & relationships

CompareAML is free for Australian businesses. We are paid flat listing fees by participating providers. We do not take per-deal commissions and we are not the agent of any provider. Any contract you enter with a provider is between you and that provider.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site — comparisons, methodology, copy, and design — is the property of CompareAML or its licensors. You may share links and quote short extracts with attribution. Bulk reproduction requires written permission.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The service is provided on an 'as is' basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompareAML excludes all warranties and is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform or any provider you engage.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to users who breach these terms or misuse the service. You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data per our Privacy policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version and last-updated date are always available on this page.
